Is a Sony compatible battery as good as Sony original battery for my camcorder? - how long will sony camcorder battery last

I have a Sony DCR-HC51. In view of a battery with a higher battery life, or maybe buy a NP-FH70 NP-FH100. Compatible with batteries are much cheaper than the Sony original. Can someone tell me how well these batteries? Duran almost as long as the original Sony?
